The State 4-H Shooting Sports Contest web site has new updates available. These updates include a new 2010 Contest Rule Book Supplement which clarifies some rules in the 2009/2010 Contest Rule Book. YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT THE SUPPLEMENT! We have also posted a summary of the 2009 Contest which includes some handy information on the contest numbers. National 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational Information

State 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinators,

Please bear with us in regard to information about the 2010 National 4-H
Shooting Sports Invitational. There is some confusion over the event dates
as well as specific discipline events that is currently being shared on
websites.

Please advise any of your 4-H shooting sports volunteers, coaches, families,
participants that the information currently being shared is not yet
finalized. Your National 4-H Shooting Sports Committee is working with our
good 4-H folks in Texas to work out these details as quickly as possible.

Rule Book Change Suggestions

Hello everyone,
In a recent email sent by Jim Hamilton, we asked that any suggested changes to the Shooting Sports Rule Book be sent to me by October 23, 2009. Since I will be leaving to attend the National 4-H Agents conference that day and will not return to the office until November 2, we have decided to extend the deadline. If you have suggested changes for the Rule Book, please submit them on or before November 2, 2009. You may submit changes to holli.campbell@colostate.edu. They should be in the following format:

Suggested Change (addition of language, deletion of language, etc...)
Short description for why change is being suggested or other information explaining proposed change.
